Help us Bless Local Families this Holiday Season
Power Up’s Holiday Helper Campaign was started in order to support 4 specific families within our community. Two of the families are struggling with the U.S. immigration system and the other 2 have been victims of hate crimes. As a community organization, we felt it necessary to support and assist these families during a time of year that may be incredibly difficult for some folks.
Through both monetary and gift donations, our hope is to assist these families in paying for their:
rent/mortgage
utility bill
groceries/holiday meals
Christmas and holiday gifts
For Thanksgiving, we purchased and distributed bags full of groceries to each of the families. As the Holiday season continues, we hope to continue supporting them in any way we can.
