PowerUp Advocates within our Community
Power Up believes in the importance of speaking truth to power and creating real change through action. Our members are advocates for social change and racial justice.
We have met with and created relationships with local and state-level officials in order to discuss legislation that will directly serve our communities rather than harming them.
We have advocated for the students in our community by meeting with members of the Board of Education and together, we have committed to creating a school system that is safe and just for our students of color.
Power Up has been working diligently with all members of the community- government, local businesses, schools, and more, to advocate on behalf of Black lives and we will continue to do so!
