An entire summer’s worth of rallying and protesting culminated into Wake Up, Show Up, Power Up: Standing Our Ground in Manchester to Erase Racism.

This was a 2-day, all day rally for justice- our longest event yet!

From 12pm-10pm on both August 22 and 23, we protested and demanded for justice in Manchester.

This event featured various speakers from other grassroots organizations, spoken word performances, dance performances, a yoga session for rest and relaxation, and all day DJing by Power203FM!

It also included a bounce house for children, a puppet making station, a kickball tournament, and dance party along with GREAT food!

We had voter registration booths as well distribution tables for free clothing for the community.

Our 2 day rally for justice also included the highly anticipated bike drive- we collected new and gently used bikes to distribute to BIPOC youth within our community.

At the end of both days, we lit candles and held a vigil for all of the Black men, women, children, and people who lost their lives due to white supremacy, police brutality, and systemic racism.
