Power Up in the Streets

Since its inception, Power Up has been organizing a variety of protests, marches, and rallies.

We have amplified our voices and created a space for others to engage in non-violent demonstrations that loudly call out the vestiges of systemic racism.

Our protests are meant to disrupt the peace as well as the status-quo that allows racism to thrive in every fabric of society.

Our protests have taken a multitude of varying shapes and forms such as:

Our Daily Rallies for Justice at The Spot

A Die-In in the middle of an intersection

Protesting at “Hot Spots” in various busy intersections around town

Protest Tours in which members of Power Up travel together to surrounding towns to amplify the voices of other organizers/activists

BLM Car Parades

12-hour long nightly protests

All Black & Brown protest
